As a standard, they are framed horizontally. Framez can rest on a shelf upright (1.25" frame depth), be angled with the leg on the backing board, or be hung. Hanging hardware is included. Made of versatile black, foil-wrapped wood and sturdy plexiglass, each scrabble style piece is matted with a 5"x 7" beveled white mat. The point tally is beautifully, hand-written on the right side below the word or phrase.
